Patterns...Wow. I just flip through a few, find some thing that sounds good, and start making licks off it.

Very useful app to help discover chords and look for different chords to add more voice tommy songs.

For a beginner needing to learn the basics, it gives you something to work with, visually and audibly.

A lot of great features. I especially love the ability to save custom chord groups. I just wish it had the ability to let me choose the notes on the fretboard and have the app display the chord. I'm learning from a jazz guitar book and some of the weirder chords aren't in the default groups. (D13b5b9 for example)

First off let me say that although I only give it 3 stars it's better than the others because when I rotate the screen the fretboard stays put and the chart moves....being left handed and having the low e on top makes this better than all the others because I haven't seen one that does that... What it's missing is a circle of fifths wheel...I mean Jesus....can't anyone get it right?you put a relations wheel on here and you get 5 stars...it's a couple of other tweaks it could use like staying in the same vicinity when I change notes....I juuuust want to shift....I don't want to hit the stupid arrow to get back to the same chord shape....Jeeeesus Christ!!!....it's irritating!!!!..one app does this but it's missing that....the other app does that but it's missing this....I would think a circle of fifths be standard but what do I know. And reverse chord lookup might help too duuhrrr.

Half step down Tuning calls what would be Bb7 as A7. Moreover, some of the notes sound displaced up an octave.
