I don't know if the app is misleading or my game is screwed up, but I played Classic as Link and I didn't have to fight Toon Link, and I just finished my 401st vs. match (that I won) and I didn't have to fight Toon Link. A little help?

This app is not the best, though I've seen worse. This guide gives you instant info for SSBB. They could've included a lot more information.

An amazing app for new players or people who want all characters fast. It shows many things on how to unlock things but I would like to see a tips and tricks section to show various things such as pivot walking, edge guarding, teching and so on.

It's an awesome guide but it needs a description of characters that you start with. And the description for how to get Sonic is wrong, I think. I've only done about 80 matches and around 60 something I fought him in a "Challenger approaching" match. I just wanted to get that clear because you need 300 matches to get him, and I didn't beat SSE or Classic mode yet, either.
