Seems like good information, problem is that I can barely get through a couple of paragraphs before an ad pops up.

Developer definitely give you some helpful info but it looks like the last update was in August 2016. A lot has changed since then obviously. The ads seem to spawn every 90 seconds or so, but fortunately they are very short. If you want the information you can just kind of ignore them.
