I played for 7 years, in those time things changed. In 2013-2015 all people really care was mainly friendship and to trust one another. After 2015 all people care about is richness. Adding iotms (item of the month) really changed the economy, but I get it they needed to add it to keep people playing. But for those who want to play as of right now 2020, it’s so much harder unless they spend money or win a rare expensive prize such as the ghc (golden heart crystal). The thing I hate most is the fact that most of moderates are not even doing their job. In the rules it says no doing illegal stuff like casinos or drop games, yet moderates are not even banning those who are clearly doing casinos. There’s youtubers who are well-known on growtopia doing casinos and moderates are not doing anything about it. Pisses me off. If you a new player thinking about downloading the game, think twice before u do. Can’t really rely on anyone. Anybody can turn against you after gaining trust. I just hope Ubisoft really look into those moderates that aren’t doing their job.

Bery fun game ive been playing since around 2014 with my cousins and sibling. Weve always had fun and its very fun on your own too. However do not trust anyone you dont trust and know irl or your gonna loose your items.

After 7 years of me playing this game I decided to get on for once and I found this out yesterday I was very disappointed. What did I do wrong????

Hackers and scammers win the game, casino hosters win the game, account sellers win the game. Legit players all tryna have fun and trade go to worlds just to see semi naked man spamming about casino. My suggestion = find a way to block spam // afk bot

Growtopia is a fantastic game but the amount of times I get scammed is horrible and that’s why I quit .

Do something wrong. Permanent ban. Do something right, false permanent ban. I enjoy the game ‘so much’ that I even ban evade, perhaps I’ll get banned again soon. However, recently, my alternate account was banned for seven days instead of permanent, I wonder if there’s a degree for punishments.

When you first play the game, it’s not too bad. There’s farming and many ways to get money. You have a lot of fun playing it. However, the bad things in the game definitely weigh out the good things. For example, the people. Most of them don’t even know basic math and you can’t trust any of them unless you know them in real life. A lot of them don’t even speak English. Another thing you’ll experience are things like the amount of players in worlds are capped at 60 so it would be hard to join worlds you want to. Also, maintenance breaks are absolutely annoying. They take hours. Oh and the lag/delay.... don’t even get me started. Some of them time, lag is not even based on your device or WiFi, I’ve been to some worlds where everyone is lagging similarly. In addition, it’s almost impossible to buy expensive items without losing world locks. Every time I buy an expensive item the price is always changing and most of them time it drops instead of rises. Playing the game is basically only fun if you’re rich or you have friends in real life that play it. Other than that, you’ll have a lot of time doing nothing and joining random worlds.

GrowID: FirstAidKitt A former OG player here, over the first few years of the game, i’ve met so much friends here. Honestly would thank the og mods cause not only did they do their jobs, they were very supportive, to say the least. not trying to offend any staff members, but i’ve recently seen mods only pay attention to famous people. if you got scammed, they would ignore. none of the less, I love this game! i still remember my first friend lucy, good times. this game is really fun if you make friends and spread positivity. i never scammed, and i never will. i respect everyone’s opinions about the game. the servers have been very unstable lately, it’d be better if the moderators try to find bugs. thank you for giving me 7 years of happiness. (smile)

But nonetheless, I’ve stuck through it, and I plan to continue to stick to it. This game has been with me and I’ve been with it.
