Loved this app and use it for multiple groups and had no issues until the update! I now have no ability to add a location to any of my calendar events.

The one major thing I wish you could do is delete old unnecessary threads. I use this primarily for work and the old threads from employees who have moved on or whim I no longer communicate with just sit there...and I can’t erase them. Other than that, no gripes for the rest of the app.

I like GroupMe, good solution for group messaging an ability to set events but lacking the ability to send audio files. I truly believe that takes 2 stars out.

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it’s such a great app. The only minor thing I suggest to make this app better is being able to completely delete a chat you had with someone rather than hide it.

I love this app! Here are a few suggestions: Can the calendar app be adjusted to have recurring events ? My team has weekly/monthly meeting and it’s frustrating to have to manually enter the same thing 40 times and it clogs up the chat. Also can we have the ability to set up more than two reminders. The app has been glitchy, I’ll receive a notification and then click on it and 1. It doesn’t open up that chat that the notification came from or 2. The chat will open but the notification won’t show up. Can we have the ability to upload multiple pictures at once. People’s profile pictures don’t always update after it was changed. I’d have to send them a personal message to see their picture fully update. Please allow to add a picture and text in the same message not separate text bubbles.

This app is great for helping to facilitate more reliable group communications among people who have different OS platforms on their smartphones. But I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement: 1. The app ALWAYS opens in portrait orientation, even if the iPhone / iPad is on it’s side. In order to rotate it to landscape, I have to rotate my device to portrait and back to landscape in order for the app to register the orientation change. I’d like to see a fix implemented that detected the device orientation on launch and automatically adjusts, without the need to manually “kick” it to the right layout. 2. I’m not sure if this fix is possible, but I’d love that if I read a message on one device or the desktop app, the other instances of the GroupMe app on my other devices registered those message(s) as read, and removed the notification. Currently, I have to open the app on each device in order for messages to be marked as read on that device. 3. I do wish the character limit on messages could be extended. Currently, longer text posts have to be broken up into multiple pieces to post them in a group. It would be great if this limit could be extended.

Would love to see the badge app icon cleared after checking the message on my Apple Watch. Not sure if that’s possible but would love that implementation.
