Moved our group thread here recently and really like it Would love to see the feature added that allows you to “like”, “emphasize”, “dislike” individual posts by our members. Otherwise we love it.

I’ll give it five stars when there’s a dislike button on messages. I think this could help because sometimes those who are in groups with me will just say the most uneducated and deranged non sense that I feel as if I need a way to show my dissatisfaction. I also feel there should be more emotion showed. Especially by being able to not only like...but dislike a message. That is all. With grief, Customer with an educated suggestion.

I’d like to be able to unlike a message. Maybe an upside down heart or a thumbs down symbol.

Amended for bug issue: Recently, the notifications have stopped working (this is a problem on both iOS and Android phones). We do not receive the icon for new messages or push notifications for new messages in group threads, only for messages with a direct tag. We all have our notifications turned on for group me in our device settings. I will update my review when this is resolved in a patch, but until then, we have to move to Slack. We’ll miss you, GroupMe! Please resolve this bug! :) Original Review: Awesome app, aside from the occasional technical issue. Really wonderful tool for group communication. Most of my friends use this to communicate since some of us are iPhone users and others have android (so we can't use iMessage with them). To the developer- Thank you for adding the poll feature!! Is there a way to make the responses not be anonymous? We would be able to use this more effectively if we could see who selected what (e.g. Friends choosing dates for a trip or someone saying they have an allergy) so that we can follow up with them. :)

I love this app! It’s really fun to text people on a group that’s not on messages, other than the texts everyday :/

This app allows you to mute group conversations when you need to, but also lets you more easily see who is talking in the group! Makes talking in group conversations over the phone easy and fun.

We started using GroupMe a few years ago, when family went on a trip. We have been using it every since. We have not had any issues with the app. Thank you!

It is too hard to join groups if you don’t know the person that started the group well
