Needs more notifications controls

I’ve used this app off and on for years. One feature that it really really needs is the ability to only get notifications when another user in the group mentions your name. I am part of work groups that have a lot of conversations that aren’t relevant to me but I get all the notifications. Muting the chat isn’t an option because then I miss anything that is relevant to me. I definitely prefer discord, or slack, go this app.

Great app but have had very annoying bug lately

The app has always been great, but for some reason whenever I try to open the menu to send photos, create a poll, etc the app freezes and I can do nothing until I close the app.

I’ve used this app with my friends for approximately 27 years. We text in it every single day. The autocorrecting is awful. If you miss one letter, it suggests an entirely different word. Sometimes it changes real words to other real words. It is incredibly slow. It requires maximum WiFi. It’s awful. Awful. Yet we can’t quit it. We never will.
