Not so much a crippled demo, but a "Greatest Hits"!

While not one usually to bother with the lite/free version of a game I already own, I love how they're actually creating something original just for the demo version. Actually, it is a little weird to call it something new since, while it is a full stage that only exists in the demo version, it is made entirely of pre-existing bits cleverly scrambled together. The full game contains 5 unique and thematic levels which includes traversing a jungle, scrambling through a mine, braving the arctic tundra, dodging bombs in an open battlefield, and finally running for your lives in a hostile alien world. So the level presented here in the freestyle version has obstacles and hazards taken from all of the full game's 5 stages. On this one level you'll be dodging bombs, giant flytraps and polar bears at the same time! I love how beyond being fun in itself it is likely to have the new player thinking "I wonder what stage of the full game this hazard came from?".
Cool, but dull

The genre is just packed with these games. It's not bad, and it does put a new spin on the tired run as far as you can games. But it's ultimately still the same thing. I'm not impressed.
