Good, just don’t craft with controllers

I wasn’t sure whether or not to review the game or the port of the game. Since it a cross-platform game with lots of reviews of the game itself online already, I’m going to stick to the port of this game for my review. I also have not played with the expansion. It’s mostly a nice port. I waited to play it after the first patch or two, so I haven’t seen the nightly crash happen in the game. The graphics are nice, the game runs smoothly, and the music doesn’t jitter like a lot of games do on the new iPad Pro. Overall, with the exception of what I’m about to talk about, I think they did a good job. The biggest issue for me is, not shockingly, the controls. I have the large iPad, so holding it like a controller can be unwieldy. To solve this problem with this and other games I bought an actual controller - the steelseries specifically. It works great with the game....except for crafting. The controller is amazing and very responsive, but the second I try to craft at any table/fire/thing it has a 90% chance of crashing. If somehow I do get the crafting screen to open, there’s a 100% chance it will crash when I switch tabs or a 100% chance to crash when I go to craft. This forces me to use the controller for everything then use finger controls to craft. It’s playable, but I’ve forgotten every so often and I lose my days work when I use the controller to craft. If they could fix it so my controller always worked, I would be so happy and up the rating. It’s just slowing my gameplay by switching back and forth. I’m using an iPad pro(3rd Gen) 12.9” with iOS 12.3.1 and with a steel series nimbus controller. Besides the constant crashing when using the controller. I haven’t seen any other bugs.
Better on other platforms.

This isn’t my only copy of the game, by far easily the worst copy I own. Steering clear till a bug clean up. Took 3 tries of starting from scratch before I got to a save spot. Then it checks in with a crash randomly whenever, mostly sleeping. So overall a great game but wait too play. -Peace, Love, and Zombies All!
Why all the crashes?

This game is great fun, but it crashes constantly. When I sleep at night, when I click wake up, sometimes just while I’m out and about doing things. I can’t make any progress when all my work is constantly reset. It’s making a game I could easily get addicted to and making me not have the motivation to play. Edit: Dropped to 1 star. I’ve had the game for a while now. They have released several updates. But none of the updates fixed the crashes that make the game unplayable. The game has to be closed and reopened after each day because on the second day it crashes and you loose all of that days progress. I spent 10 dollars on the game and 3 for the expansion and can’t even play more than 1 day at a time. This is ridiculous. Make the game playable or give me my money back and I’ll purchase a game that I can actually play. Edit 2: I have an iPad Pro, and the last update said fixed crashes on low memory devices. I don’t consider an iPad Pro to be a low memory device. I’ve officially given up on this game since their last update that said “fixed crashes on low memory devices” it still crashes every other day. I can’t make any progress. It’s unplayable.

I also own this for ps4 and have had no bugs but I wanted it to be a little more portable so I bought it on iOS, but when I open the game it starts to load then crashes. I don’t believe in giving a game bad ratings for bugs so hopefully they fix it.

Love this game but it is unplayable on my iPad. Crashes without fail the first time I sleep every time. Severely disappointed.

Have the game on Xbox one also and it’s a great game. Too bad it’s practically unplayable on iPad Pro. Crashing constantly and cannot progress through the game. Please fix or refund!

PLEASE fix the bug where the game crashes when you try to sleep & save! Having to redo your work every other day is frustrating at best and makes the game feel almost unplayable at worst. I’m a huge fan of Graveyard Keeper on PC and have been waiting so long for you guys to release this for iOS, so please make it so we can save and continue without constant crashing!! Edit: Game patch was released yesterday, and am still having a ton of crash issues... please fix !! Edit 2: Last edit was 3 weeks ago, and I’m still having tons of crashes (there is plenty of space on my device)

I hope an update is coming soon to fix this crashing problem since the last update was 3 weeks ago. Many players are having this same issue because without the sleeping feature you cant save your progress. ?? Also my device has 98gb free so no more excuses. I will change my rating when it is fixed.
