Dont waste your $$
Etienne Gilbert

Nice idea but needs a lot if work to be ready for mass consumption. I have iPhone 3GS, app is slow to respond to clicks, auto play way too fast with no control over it, diagrams crash all the time; I havent watched one single game where the diagram displayed didnt crash at least twice. Huge waste of my $$. I definitely dont recommend buying this app. Be warned.

Relive and play like a Grandmaster
Rcpradel

This app is great, imagine you have the greatest game of the 12 chess GM's at the click of your finger. It's interactive allowing you to play and analyze the moves after a GM resigned-it works well in os 4.0 and up.

Chess lovers GET THIS!!!!
Bassoclock

One of the best chess apps available. GREAT selection of master games. I love that you can slow down play speed. I would like to be able to slow it down even more in autoplay mode. 1game so far is not complete after the 100 or so I have been through. Very educational and entertaining for chess fans. Some day a version with game annotations would be heaven.

Terrible interface
Fundomushi

This is a rip off. The user interface issues make this program a real pain to use. The buttons are all too small and too close together. Browsing through collections of games is a nightmare. On page two the names of the players are clipped! Useless! The "next move" button is adjacent to the "final position button." When I try to review a game I end up going to the final position several times on accident! Save your money.

Don't buy this
"Buck

Cons: There are no arrows that allow you to control the speed of the moves, so the app makes the moves automatically at intervals of less than one second at even the slowest speed. If your goal is to see pieces fly across board without any idea of what is happening, then this app is for you. Also if good graphics are important to you ( they weren't so much to me) then then you won't like this app. Pros: What I do like about this app is that it has a great library of game to learn from. I import the games (pgn format)) into a different chess program that provides analysis of the moves and has much better graphics. If I couldn't do this, the app would not even earn 1 star. Would I buy this app again?. Yes if cost 99 cents or maybe even $1.49 but not for the $4.99 i paid and this is only be because I'm the addicted toe chess. I.You will need another chess program to export the games to get any utility from this app.

So many odd things
chessteve

First let me say I am rated over 2100 and I couldn't follow the games. The auto play is so fast, even at its slowest speed, the games are just a blur. How an average player would have even the slightest clue as to what is going on is beyond me. There seems to be no way to turn this feature off. ( it is hard to say for sure since I crashed most times I entered the settings mode.) But, the play back choices are: slow, slowest, normal, fast and fastest. There was no off. To add to the confusion the squares the pieces move from and to turn red. The board is a wild melee of flashing squares and charging pieces. I bought this app so I could view great games and perhaps learn and enjoy. Good luck with that, the games tear by in thirty seconds. I would compare it to fanning the pages of a book and trying to read it as the pages flash by. Why did this app get two stars? Well turn off the flashing squares and auto play back and it would be worth having.

Finally an app with style

Great seller A++. Product as described. Fast shipment ! Oh wait that's my eBay line.

Love It!!!!!
Zrgrid

Love the app, but it would be better with an option to get a list of the moves.

Disappearing Forward Button
Thinkoven

This is a great app on the iPhone but its annoying on the iPad. In "Play" the moves are too fast even in the slowest mode. In "Pause" the forward button most times disappears so you cannot step through the games. Fix these two things and its a five star app.

So full of glitches the games are wrong
Gtowngent

This app constantly glitches in a way that the moves of the actual games are incorrect. At times entire piece will be missing at the start of a game. No annotation available either. Has the potential to be a great app, but can't even enjoy with the way it currently is.
