Best named patch, ever... "One Year Dead for Tax Reasons" The sounds are spectacular. Powerful and unique. NI has nothing over this. Great work!

The sound design potential is there...the presets are rich and inspiring...my only contention I have ever had with this product is this: the scroll editing HUI isn't as efficient as it may be intended to be...you know, all these explorations into new, cool looking interfaces are delightful at first, but then after awhile they become an obstacle of efficiency. Lets face it, people loved the analog synths of yesteryear due to their immediate tweaking layout. Don't misunderstand me, this synth is just as gorgeous looking as it is sounding, but I believe the space on the pages could maybe be used more efficiently. Maybe try consolidating related elements on less pages. Maybe if you double tap a corner or something and then the interface zooms out to show a grid/mosaic of the parameter pages...kinda like how TB Stuff (or TableTop for that matter) does it

id give this 5 stars but im literally going crazy trying to swipe the control panel down. it keeps briging my notifictions down instead. pls fix
Doesnt work with BT speakers

Awesome synth. Only problem is that it refuses to output sound to bluetooth speakers. I checked in both the in-app settings and in the ios settings. No way to toggle it. Please fix!

Since the App Store seems to enjoy eating my previous reviews of this fine app, let me just say: Grain Science is one of the most enjoyable granular synthesizers I've ever used. It sounds fantastic, has an immediately musical workflow (a rarity in granular, I've found), and a responsive developer in Wooji Juice. If you like granular synths, or just want to get started, this is a fine choice.

Finally a synth easy to use, mods are easy, is a bit like symptohm mellowman , each parameter has its own modulations with exception of adsr, 2 sample oscs. Best synth for the iphone for its modulation matrix.

iOS synths have begun giving hardware and software synths a run for their money, well actually, at iOS prices they blow away other options for the musician on a budget(90% of us). This has so many oscillator and fx options you can really shape the tone you're looking for. Sampling is always a welcome feature with granular synthesis, and in this case you can really just hold your device up to something without worrying about some rigged mic setup. I was happy to find a ribbon option, that alone makes this infinitely more enjoyable. Great synth, and actually practical in studio/stage use.

I've had this app a while and found the presets interesting but was a little disappointed by how few there were. Now more recently experimenting with this amazing tool, I'm swimming deep into synthesis oceans. Such unique and original sounds to be made with this app. One small gripe...while the filter is very good and playable, it steps too much in the lower frequencies. However have learned to used this as a signature quirk of the engine. This app has once again been moved to my favorite instrument folder.
