I was told that I was getting a three day free trial, and they still took $20 out of my wallet. They don’t even have the ethnicity thing anymore.
Scams don’t download! I was getting charged unknowingly for months after deleting the app and forgetting about it. Never did I know they had subscription for $20. Ridiculous, very dishonest and sneaky of a company to subscribe you without consent. Ending a free trial should not mean that you are automatically subscribed. It should mean the trial has ended. App wasn’t even anything special I barely remember using it. Don’t waste your time.
I opened the app, and skipped past the first screen asking me to sign up for the free trial. I didn’t see the ethnicity checker, so I thought I might have to buy “premium” to get that. So, I signed up for the yearly premium subscription ($125) that ALSO had a 3 day trial on it. What happens next? I instantly get an email from PayPal saying I’ve been charged $125. I quickly called my bank, Discover, and got them to put a stop payment on my account for that amount, so I won’t be charged. I should have had my Paypal hooked up to a credit card to be even safer, but this works too I suppose. What an absolute scam. A trial didn’t even start for me. I clicked “3 day trial, $125” and instantly got charged the $125. That’s seriously disgusting. When I sign up for a trial, I expect a trial period where I can cancel my subscription. I don’t expect to have to be charged for it. What a joke.
Like this apps gotta be a joke right?? It functions literally so bad and doesn’t do anything well. On top of that it’s $19.99/month?? I wouldn’t even say this app is worth being free.... I guess they gotta charge all that money for these celebrity endorsements, not sure who in their right mind would wanna promote this app though.
