A Mature Goth Community

As a leader for this app, I can honestly say it's probably not for everyone. But for those interested in a mature goth community that's meant to stay on topic and be taken seriously, you'd probably enjoy it immensely. And no, it's not run by "elitists". We understand people have interests outside of the goth subculture and that's fine. But there are enough other Amino communities and social media platforms that a strictly goth community is a nice change of pace for the majority of those in the goth subculture. Furthermore, the negative reviews were most likely written by those who didn't take the time to fully read the guidelines. We don't bully members, and we don't randomly disable things. We understand that many things fit under the gothic umbrella, from literature to post-punk music. But we also understand that not everything fits under the goth label. I've personally always found this app to have a strong sense of community as well, and I've made many friends through it. It's also great for promoting and finding goth events in your area.

Really great app would be cool if you could delete posts instead of them just getting disabled. Besides that tho it's really great. :)

I used a have account,but I deleted be because the leaders was always deleted my posts and marked as spam. And I not the only one. It's not a app for goth comunity gets together,they only let the posts they think is about subculture. Bad app with mean people,it's a waste of time. Deserve 0 stars,but Apple don't let.

I can't really see why anyone in the Goth scene or community wouldn't be all about this. I've been there for a bit, and honestly it has been fantastic! I've engaged in civil debate, effective conversation, and been able to share some great music in and out of the scene. It's really worth checking out!

I personally love the Goth Amino. It’s an excellent place to view other goths’ thoughts and assorted shared posts, chat, etc. Some have complained about the rules and admins being too strict, and while t certainly is much more rigid than other aminos, it is a well needed thing. It keeps the amino both relevant, and of good quality. They keep irrelevant posts, spam, and other unnecessary things off the amino, and I for one appreciate that rigid overseeing. On top of that, I’ve never had any issue with their mods/admins. They’ve been friendly, and are (as far as I’ve seen) respectful, even when addressing rules.
