The GoReact Recorder app lets you use your phone or tablet to submit videos directly to your activities in GoReact. You can record a new video or upload any video from your Camera Roll using GoReact Recorder. Once you post your video submission, it appears in the GoReact dashboard on the web and is available for feedback.
Videos created within GoReact Recorder can be trimmed before posting, so you only submit what you want to receive feedback on. Recordings are automatically compressed for upload on your device, making upload times and bandwidth requirements as light as possible. (GoReact Recorder can function over cellular networks, but you have the option to restrict it to Wi-Fi only. We don’t like paying huge data bills either!) Uploads that experience problems will be safely paused and stored on your device until you’ve got a better Internet connection.
The latest release of GoReact Recorder allows your iOS device to serve as the camera for recording live sessions! When you begin recording on a Live/In-Class activity in Recorder, instructors and audience members can submit feedback from anywhere as long as they are logged in to GoReact.com. Their comments will be synced and time-coded with your video as soon as it’s submitted.

As an instructor, I would love an app that would allow me to see student videos. If it's not possible to grade them in the app, just an ability to see who has submitted would be great!

The Goreact app does not work! It won't reload app update! I love using Goreact on the laptop.
Horrible horrible glitchy unstable incomplete app

Recording function did not work for my sons midterm exam. We had to pay $20 for this through my sons ASL class. We spent seven minutes recording a video only to find out it couldn't load. We followed the online instructions, it still didn't work. The video function and upload function don't work. Waste of time and money!

Lost in irig hell
Because it won't let me sign in. I recorded a video on my phone for school so I could honestly say I did my work but now what? Can't get it to the professor. Help!

Caveat: this app is not a standalone full version of the GoReact software. It's a supplementary recorder for using your phone to make recordings and then submit them on GoReact assignments. So you need a regular GoReact account first. It looks like some of the negative reviewers may have misunderstood that or had problems related to their account and not the functionality of the app. I've used it for both recording directly in the app and recording on my iPhone and submitting those recordings (from my library) through the app and it has worked perfectly.

Useless-Fails to upload every time

I record a video on my phone then attempt to upload it. I get "Houston we have a problem.." with failure at 85% every time. It also always fails to let me choose my class the first time, every time after launch. Is this beta software?!?! Totally unreliable and useless for uploading videos recorded on the phone.
Would be great if I could even access my account

Look, you tried, I get it it. I downloaded it in hopes that I don't have to use the computer. More convenient. But of course, convenience is never a luxury. Or maybe it's just the stupidity of the app developers. I think it's the latter. I type in information and it says it's wrong, I do it about 4 more times, actually making sure I'm typing slow so I know I'm typing it right. Wrong every time. I go on the computer I type in the exact same thing I typed in here and it worked first try. Fix this, idiots.
Can't view other students submissions

For my class, we have to view other people's submissions and record a response. Using the app, you can only see your own videos. This should be changed ASAP. Ridiculous.
