Good at the basics

Gets the basics mostly right, but otherwise not as elegant as some of the competitors like Apple News or ironically Google Play.

Sources and articles chosen demonstrate a left wing bias that is distasteful to all but die hard liberals.

Poor refresh and news story updates

Overall poor refreshing of news stories during the day. Same story sometimes shows for days. Program slow to refresh

After being completely disgusted with other apps that include random Twitter feeds & such as part of their news articles, this Google News is great. I feel this app pulls from solid sources and is well rounded--that doesn't mean I always agree with the writer of an article but I respect their presentation. Only one complaint, but this is the world we live in: too many marketing ads inserted into the stories. I know Google has to pay the light bill, though.

The news feed feels partisan and diffuse. Moreover, I can't tweak any one section enough to create appeal. I can also not filter out publications such as "CNN" or "Christian Monitor" or other sham entities. You'd think full access to my email and search history would amount to a better product than this, Google.

You have so many apps google I wish you'd pack up and get on the next train smoking. You smother people to the point of disgusting them. Google apps are poorly designed IMO so here's your hat what's your hurry. 9/5/2016
