Using an iPad Pro google earth is stuck on the welcome screen and does not go any further. Clicked on the app support tab in the App Store and it takes you to a help forum for windows google earth Pro help. Useless for apple products. Really a shame googles so disorganized or just doesn’t care about low revenue users UPDATE: several hours later the app loaded as expected. Program ran fine, would be nice to have current or near current maps and photos, most data I saw was more than 3 yrs old. I’m thinking the startup/loading issue was not an app problem but a temporary google server issue they resolved. Still no troubleshooting info for Apple mobile users (at least none I could find) even with the issues, Google Earth is the best (free) global mapping app money can buy for the iPhone/iPad.

Why, why, why doesn’t Google not periodically update the views? How about different seasons. Fall/winter will have no foliage il, spring/summer will be full foliage. I keep seeing views that are at least 6 or 7 years old. A lot can happen in that time.

I started using Google Earth many years ago when it was new and rocked the planet. What the heck happened? The Rez is so low as to be worthless. The street views are spotty. I used to use Google Earth for many purposes. Not any more since it is pretty much useless.

Guess I should have read the reviews. I downloaded the app almost solely for the historic aerial pics. I kind of have it on my desktop computer, but it crashed around Xmas and I don’t know how I’m going to get it fixed. That’s with living in a very rural area and the world being basically shut down at the moment. Those old satellite photos were the only thing I ever used Earth for, so the app is just a slightly fancier “Google Maps” to me.
close to amazing
I like it, it’s a great app I see everything is ok, expect can u add a button for phones to go inside places and explore the building y could even block out people inside. Just a suggestion.

Whenever I’m bored I just look up places on google earth and just play around. So I recommend this app, and it’s pretty helpful and fun.?

I love Google Earth and use it for work constantly. I love the snapshot feature because it removes the clutter for a great pic but I can no longer directly save a snapshot to photos on iPhone. What happened? I don’t know if this a Google problem or Apple problem but please bring this feature back. I have been making due with saving the snapshot to files but it was way better before.
