So apparently Texas and Illinois have laws that require companies to let users know if biometric data gets used commercially. Google doesn’t want to do that, so no art selfie. Guess we now know what Google was using the new “free” feature for. As they say, if you’re not the paying customer, you’re the product.

I just got the app and when I open it it just says there was an error loading the page. I have tried deleting it and redownloading. App support doesn’t work because it tries to take me to a link in the app which doesn’t work because the app won’t load! Very disappointed, and hoping that someone can help me figure out why it won’t load!
Took too long to find Portrait mode inside the app so I deleted it

Waste of time. Have the Portrait function be one of the first things you see.
I want the selfie feature too

Got this app for one reason and apparently not everyone can even access it.

Like other google things this is not working like it should. Gboard was a fail and so is this app.
Why exclude Texas?

I love art, but the only reason I downloaded this app was to use the fun museum portrait selfie feature. After getting frustrated trying to find the link I eventually found out why. Texas and Illinois are excluded. Bogus. I’m deleting this app. Let me know when you fix this issue.
