Crashing

artisticforge

When attempting to view the video guides or to manage the video guides the app crashes. This needs to be fixed, ASAP. IOS7.1.2 & iPad Version II. There is no way to backup neither the cookbooks nor the videos to the computer. If you upgrade iPad or the app, you have to download the cookbooks and the videos all over again. There is no direct printing from the app. The best solution is to take a screenshot and print the screenshot.

HORRAY??

BBC Good Food recipes has always been one of my absolute favorite apps so I'm thrilled that it's back!! The total redesign is fantastic! It's easy to zip through specialty cookbooks and the collections of the month or to do a search for something specific. This app is filled with a mass variety -- you'll find great recipes for ever kind of eater (vegans, kid friendly, vegetarians and dessert-aholics?). I especially like that we now have access to recipes on the BBC Good Food website as well as favorites we've saved in our recipe box (on the website). That said, I do have one suggestion: please add the option to change measurements from Metric to Imperial. I highly suggest cooks at all levels download this app -- you won't be disappointed!

BBC Essentially Takes Back Purchased Issues

I have never heard of another publisher unilaterally denying access to old issues if you don’t renew a current subscription. Next thing will be knocking on doors and demanding paper copies back. A very sad money grab directed at digital subscribers. Unreliable and to be avoided.
