The new changes are atrocious! I have VIP and I will likely cancel if they don’t fix it! What’s the point of sorting if it still groups it all up by golf course? I hate it!

I have been using GolfNow for several years. It seems like every time they make changes to the app it is for their advantage, not the customer. Even hot deals have convenience fees, taxes, etc that bump the price as much as 25% on a routine basis. Their fix to this, pay them an additional $100 to become a VIP. The selection of courses is progressively lower caliber. Dealing with their customer support over the phone is a terrible experience. Ever since NBC bought GolfNow this service has gone down hill.

GolfNow has been my go to app for years. Anytime the gang want to go play a round, I can whip out the app and have a tee time in less than five mins, as long as we all agree on the course... Plus we get the added bonus of “Hot deals” which can save us over half the cost on some courses. GolfNow is just amazing. Get it!

Service fee

I got an error message when I tried booking a tee time, so I booked another time. I called the golf course the following day to verify the reservation. They told me I had two tee times so I cancelled one of them. GolfNow is still charging me both service fees. That’s ridiculous. Book through the course or another site/app, save yourself the money.

I can no longer find my country club which is part of a major resort in Florida. Therefore, the app is useless now. Too bad, because I use to enjoy it.

New Version Fixed One; Broke Many

Nicknames bug me

I was glad to see the new version fixed the display problem on the iPhone X. However, the scorecard is no longer easy to use. You have to manually advance from hole to hole. It’s an extra two steps just to enter a score. Statistics tracking is just aggregating now, the individual round report on statistics is no longer available. The app also seems to be trying to know which holes have bunkers and which don’t. If it doesn’t think the hole has a bunker, you can’t enter it in the tracker. Also, you have to tell the app every round that you want to track bunkers and penalties. It doesn’t hold that setting from round to round. The strength of this app has been two things for me: the GPS doesn’t drain your battery (still true) and the ease of entering scores and stats (badly broken now). Hanging on for bug fixes for now.

Please fix statistics portion

GolfNow is an incredible app and I love getting great deals on golf, but please fix the statistics portion of the app. I want to be able to keep my statistics in the app but whenever I go to look at them, the short game section is blank

I’ve used GN for years but haven’t ever felt like I was getting the best deal, just good ones. Earlier this year I started comparing with the pga TeeOff app and the prices have always been fairly consistent-ish. Until today... I just booked my first ever “hot deal” and got a round for 2 people at a course that normally costs $100+/person ($129/person on TeeOff) for $114 total (including fees + tax)! Thanks GolfNow!
