Overpriced

$49.95? Definitely not worth that. There are too many other free or paid subscription apps available that are better. Don’t waste your money.

Best Golf App out - but wish it had Wind and Elevation considerations

Puppies32

I have used this app for several years. It is by far the best (I have tried just about all of the golf apps available in the App Store). I find the graphical representation of the hole much easier to view on the course and the score card is way better than any other out there. The only thing I wish it would include in an update is an option to include elevation and wind factors when determining distance - a Plays Like stat. I would find this way more usable than the putting line and approach features they added recently. Hopefully they will be adding it soon, as I see that several of their competitors already have implemented a Plays Like feature....?

Great Golf app

MottsFW

Excellent graphic views of holes, good distance

Use It

too many xonk's

I’ve used many golf apps over the years. Golflogix is superior to all I’ve used. Most importantly is the putt feature, we have the pros putt info on the app. If you don’t consider a round with your buddy it will gives you all the distance and aiming information you need. I probably make more 30’ miracles or at least 1 footers with it than before. Finally club distance and tracking made simple once you figure it out.

Hard to Use

Zenman!

I find GolfLogix just an average golf app. It has potential to be a very good app, but customer support is of no use if you have questions about how to use the app. It also lacks a basic instructions manual, other than the YouTube videos. These YouTube videos are not much help because they are too short and don’t give any detailed directions. They even suggest on their website, “The best way to dive in is to get out onto the course and test it out.” I guess they figure actually knowing how to use it before you play doesn’t matter. This is a very stupid and lazy thing to suggest, because trying to figure out how to use the app while playing a round only adds stress, slows you down and backs up the groups behind you. So save your money until GolfLogix makes an effort to support it’s customers and publishes some decent and detailed instructions on how to use it.

Day course

little Kohn

I only use it for distance & scores. That is all that I need & it’s excellent for me hat.I know my distance for my clubs & I like to line my own putts.

Slow Load Time

Really good app once you get into it, but it takes upwards of five minutes once you open the app to be able to use it. Incredibly slow to load, which means you have to think ahead if you want to use the app on the course. Otherwise you will potentially be holding up groups behind you.

Putting line feature needs improvement

AmerAther

Overall, it is a good app. However, putting feature is not much useful. It does not provide break or elevation estimates correctly. Drawing a line from the ball to the flag is difficult considering there is no way to tell the app actual ball position. It should use GPS coordinates to mark the ball and flag position and then draw a putt line. To mark ball and flag positions, golfer can click the button two times: First, standing at the ball position and second at the flag position. App should calculate GPS positions of markers and then draw a putt line taking into account break and elevation.
