I always check the Golden Hour App before arranging my photo shoot. Time and the right light are essential to get the job done right.

Tells me what I need to know. Little buggy. Crashes every time I try too look at future dates. But other than that, works great

I'm a pro photographer and rely on Golden Hour constantly for planning, scouting, and scheduling my photo shoots. The sun dial is especially useful when scoping out a location and seeing where the sun will be located throughout the remainder of the day. It's also ideal for planning the optimum time to photograph a location, as well.

Well, there are a lot of problems with this. To start, the Golden Hour calculation isn't accurate. Kind of defeats the purpose. I also turned off the sound because I may use this around clients, and yet it still made noise. There's also no option to take it out of military time, and it's not easy to select a date and place in the future. I hate that I spent the money on this.

... and then some. The fact that it has an exhaustive schedule of every phase of the sun doesn't obscure it's ease of use. Very well put together.

This app has helped me be more consistent with taking better pictures, especially of the sunset!

Missed a sunrise because the time zone was set to eastern even though I'm in central. Could not find option to change.

I have found so many places to look up sunset times, gold hour, and blue hour. They all seem to be so complicated. This one makes my life so easy. It's quick it's easy to tell me what I need to know and it's accurate. I also like the picture that shows the sun and golden hours moving toward you. It's wonderful!
