This game is very creative. The locations, the enemies, the bosses,everything! I love playing space games and this game just made it to my list. It is that awesome. :)

Kind of unfair

I don't get why the game has to punish you for dying in one hit. In this game, anything can kill you in a single touch and there are so many thing flying all over the place and making it hard or even impossible to avoid loosing your stuff you suffered so much for. And loosing certain things can make a level unbeatable.

If you like side-scrolling shooters, then you might like Golden Galaxy. It's very much a game in the vein of r-type and gradius.
Fun for a little while but

Very punishing for one wrong move as all your upgrades lose 1 complete upgrade level which is significant at later levels and makes it almost impossible to advance due to tougher objects. I think it's world 4 or 5 that has some obstacles that are almost impossible to successfully dodge too. Plus there's no reset or main menu option in the game. You have to quit the game entirely by quitting the background instance to get back to the main menu. I've had ship movement become sticky too - it doesn't respond to my finger swipes.
