The movie is a better video game, way more cutscenes and stuff, between the cgi stuff, weee, pew pew pew. boobies, cool buffalo guards, great recipes, plus no subscription or installation fees!

Since the movie looks crummy (I'm going to see it, but only for NCW), I thought maybe the game would make up for it. And it does serve as a good intro to the movie. The graphics are reasonable and it's nice to be able to move freely in a 3D environment, but it's extremely easy to lose sight of the character beyond some rocks or behind a palm frond in the middle of a battle. There also does not seem to be a way to set an opponent - say I want to focus less on the regular guys who might possibly kill me and more on the big death monster that definitely will kill me. There is very little in the way of a tutorial - if I weren't already a gamer I would not have known the red bottles in the throne room were health potions - and after a half hour of repetition and disparaging comments every time I die I'm pretty much done. I might try again tomorrow. Anyway, it's a free game, download it, play til it bores you, then delete it, and hopefully it won't sour you on the actual movie (it would have for me, but, again, NCW).

So I love the entire Egyptian gods thing. I know movie tie in games are notoriously bad but I said what the hell why not. Honestly it's not that bad. There aren't any ads or timers. The biggest issue is the camera. Even with the update I've found myself trying to swipe the screen hoping to move the camera so I could see better. Also healing bottles will fly onto places you simply cannot reach or get to. The other issue is sometimes while attacking the movement joystick becomes completely unresponsive. The last issue is there is no consequences of dying. You simply resurrect exactly where you were. You should be forced to start over. It would give living more meaning. The above issues could easily be fixed and I hope they are. It's really not a bad game and it does pump you up for the movie. I definitely want to see the movie now. I just hope the development team takes pride in their work and fixes the game despite what I'm sure is a set budget and a short time frame.

It's a fun game, the only problem is it only has three missions, three short missions that are pretty easy, which is okay, I don't want the movie to get spoiled, but could you add like a survival mission, something that only ends when you die, that would be great.

Playing on iPhone 6 plus this Game is amazing and plays just like god of war. Defenetly would recommend. 5 Stars plus

Fun game, great graphics, and satisfying. Plays like God of War and looks like a PS3 game. Better than most movie tie in games, and has nod ads or micro transactions. A great way to waste an hour.

I found no redeeming qualities in this game. It's just a button masher set up as a poor promotion for a movie.

I am so tired of all the pc whitewashing comments about this movie. It was a completely fantasy adventure film not truly based on reality. As such it was enjoyable.

Great game, I'm so glad it's free!! I got an idea! It's where you have an option to have auto camera (camera moves by itself: Currently in use) and independent camera(player could move camera) Anyway, Great game and I hope it gets updates.
