This app is ingenious. Finally, a way to collaborate and connect the outdoor community, all over the world! As this continues to grow, I will be able to hop on Gociety in any city, and see what awesome adventures, places, events are must do's and must see's. I'm most thankful for the way it's uniting my city currently, and connecting us in ways we've never seen before! 5 stars to Gociety!

Like the other review, this is an app with a lot of progress – it does need many improvements. The ability to pick geographic areas, maybe even states or provinces. Supposedly you can do that now to some extent, but I repeatedly have events in Maine or Bangladesh pop up when I pick the Rocky Mountain region. And wow Cali to Washington state? Hard to sort - It would be great to be able to have more sort and filter options as well. By DATE, etc.

I've been using the Gociety website for over a year now and I love it. I'm very happy to see there is an app now. As with any new apps, there is room for improvement, but overall it's great and the concept is awesome. This app provides a quick and easy way to find outdoor buddies on the go. So if you are an active person, give this app a try - you will love Gociety!!!

Good idea, but not there yet

The idea behind the service is great but that app needs some serious help. Crashes often, no direct login through Facebook, odd UX flows, etc. Also, if you live on the west coast... good luck. The only regional options you get are 'South West' or 'Pacific Northwest.' What do you pick if you live in Northern California?
