I've tried several of the more popular walking apps, paid and free. Kept getting asked if I wanted to "share" on Facebook or to rate the app. No, I just want to go for a walk and keep a personal record of it. This app does that very well. Well worth the .99 cents in my opinion.
Waste of money

iPhone version is very flakey. Works a little bit and then doesn’t. Watch version is absolutely worthless and unuseable.
Problems

Nice interface, easy to use, has "while using" option for location tracking, but routes display only in satellite view with no option to display on map. Stops tracking without warning if you remain stationary for a while without manually pausing and resuming. Turn cellular data off to preserve battery life.
