Nice but not better than the standard Reminders app

smurf lines and hub drains

Pros -The layout is very nice. There are three screens, one allows you to see your calendar, the other is the to do list, and the last is the important urgent grid. -It gives you a lot more options with each task than the Reminders. Need to add a longer note to it, no problem. The reminders for each task are more customizable. Cons -Can't create new workbooks with separate tasks. Why not? -A lot of the features in this app are in a standard Reminders app that is pre loaded on every iPad and iPhone that syncs easily. Just doesn't seem worth the price tag when it doesn't really do more then combine to apps that are pre loaded on iOS devices.

Exactly what I needed!

This App is awesome. First off the UI is wonderful, easy to use and allows you to input a lot of information as well being able to view your information in a clean format. You can even send any of your information via text, email...etc Creating and managing Tasks is easy to do and you can view your tasks in different ways in order to help you manage your tasks. Especially if you have a high volume of tasks to do like me. The only thing that I can see at this point is that the App was last updated well over a year ago. With  iOS now at version 11.4, it is time for an update for I am now receiving message that the App will not work with Apple Watch on future versions of iOS. I hope the developers maintain this App. That has always been the biggest issue with most Apps that you tend to heavily use and rely on is that all of sudden, your favorite App goes bye bye. Then you are stuck funding a replacement App along with making another expense. Final thought: App runs smooth; Cloud synch is great; runs on all iOS devices; and synchronization works across all your devices. Supports  Watch a plus!

Great app that needs an update

Edit: a Gneo update ... hooray! I never did find something better, though I tried. Gneo is the best! Thanks for updating. :-) --- Old review: I love Gneo. It has features I wanted for the longest time. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated in a year or more, so it doesn't work in split-screen on an iPad and doesn't use the new share sheet tech, so it can't easily share data with other apps. I can use another app in slide over in order to jump back and forth, but this is very prone to locking up my iPad Pro. I want to use Gneo, because it has features I want, I am sick of setting up, learning, and trying new todo and planner apps, and Gneo doesn't have any way to export my data into another app so I'll have to blow an afternoon manually copying each and every item to whatever other app I try. But more and more often I am bumping into Gneo's limitations, for a little more frustration each day. I am glad I bought the app, and I only wish the developer would modernize it. I would even pay full price again. Otherwise, I am nearing the end of my patience and I guess I have to start trying other apps again, though I sure wish I could stick with Gneo.

Great approach

Really need a desktop or web app to work in. It's much too painful to organize a real life task list on the phone. The phone is to reference and be reminded. Management and planning is a large screen task. Would pay real software prices (as opposed to app prices) for a syncable desktop version.

Good Concept, Incomplete Execution

For $8.99 I was expecting a top-notch app. The option to move/drag tasks in different "priority areas" is great (however it has only four pre-fixed priority areas and no option to customize them). One problem is that you can't print (!?) any of the lists. But the ultimate problem that led my rating down is the very poor syncing. It takes sometimes ten minutes to upload a newly added basic task. And after 3 days, my iPad and iPhone are completely out of sync. There are very old troubleshooting instructions (probably from years ago when the app was launched), useless. So now I'm in the market for a new app, with $8.99 less in my budget, and three days of notes/tasks wasted.

Too much and too little

I really thought that Geno would be the one that I would fall in love with. However, it has a strange combination of too many features and too few. For instance, the incorporation of the Eisenhower matrix for prioritization is a wonderful feature and yet, something that I found I don't actually use. Also, it takes way too long to create a task, and it takes too long how to learn to use the application. As others have mentioned, the fact that you can't use it on the Mac is a significant handicap is well. What I've actually ended up using is Todoist, which while more complex than Gneo, is actually something that I find myself able to use consistently. (If you are not working on multiple projects, you might also find Swipes an excellent tool for your needs.)

Happy about the update!

I would like to see an update on the widget. And will this app be updated often? Will Gneo stay updated with the new iOS releases? Thanks and keep up the great work!

No support, Apparently Abandoned

This app has great potential, but nothing more has been done with it even though upgrades were promised more than two years ago. The store is open but no one is there. There are problems with repeats that make this cumbersome but, obviously, they took their money and disappeared.?

Unreliable, doesn't sync, 2-month delays in customer service responses

After being a loyal user for 2-3 years and recommending this app to several friends, I lost my data with an iPhone water accident. After struggling to find a way to access the data on Evernote, on an old iPod (rebooted just for this purpose--to use the app that actually doesn't sync), from a web browser (they don't offer this option--not even as backup), or really from anywhere, I realized there was no way to access my data. In desperation, I reached out to customer service via the Facebook page, since I didn't see many other options on outreach. THEY DIDN'T RESPOND FOR TWO MONTHS, and even then, the response was very half-baked. In short, when I was between a rock and a hard place, they didn't give two @$%s, and I lost all my data. Moral of the story: If you are looking for a trustworthy place to store your task lists and goals, with customer service staff who recognize that you've entrusted them with your important day-to-day tasks and goals, I would recommend you LOOK ELSEWHERE. GNEO+ staff could not have been more apathetic. Since I had to start all over with my organization, this time I chose a combination of Asana, Any.Do, and Google Keep to keep my life together. I've been extremely happy and found them to meet my needs in ways that GNEO+ actually never could in the first place.
