Fantastic

Floppydrivez

Been looking for something like this to practice my glyphing and this is perfect.

good app - updates please

glyphtastic

This is a good app if you play Ingress. Just a few details... Turning glyphs off function doesn't seem to work. Also, the "imperfect" glyph does not allow you move on - even when providing the correct pattern. Please fix for those of us working to get higher level gear! Please and thank you!

Great update!

And_Voila

The update includes some excellent improvements and functionality. Thank you so much!

Super Helpful

Practicing with this app has definitely improved my glyph hacking. I'm getting more correct in game, and hitting the speed bonus more often. A great tool for any iOS Ingress player!

Thanks!

Thanks for writing this app! Two requests: First, the disabling of glyphs doesn't work correctly. Second, it would be lovely if it would stack glyphs like in the game according to settings you choose.

Drills you, but in the wrong order

This app is superb for memorizing names -> glyph associations. But what I need is to memorize it in the other order: given a glyph, what is the associated word? After all, that's the order that ingress requires you to be able to handle. It's good for what it does, it just doesn't quite do what it needs to.

Works. Kinda.

As another reviewer said, it's backwards from the Ingress expects you to handle this. That said, both directions of guessing would be nice. It would also be nice if the currently-built-in-function of turning glyphs on and off actually worked. Stock, the app had the B types of Resistance and Enlightened set to OFF, but after getting to the point where the app cycles through all glyphs, I still get ones that are turned off. It's very annoying because the app tends to produce the glyphs in patterns (see, path) and not being able to shut off some of those glyphs makes it hard to memorize the 2nd and 3rd ones in those series. Otherwise, it's the best there is on iOS. It just needs more. With more (and working options), it'd be worth a buck or two for serious glyph hackers. Basic suggestions: On/off working Guess the glyph Glyph lookup Mock "glyph hack" sequence with scoring Better feeling drawing (more like Ingress) I'd pay $5 if this app did all of that. I'd pay $5 up-front to get it all added! Lastly, for those stuck on Imperfect, look up how to do it. Like all glyphs, it's not just the shape that counts; the order of the connections does, too. It's just that most glyphs' reverse connections or alternative drawing methods are acceptable, whole this one is very specific and unique.

Very helpful!

While it doesn't present the glyphs in the same way they're presented in the game. It help me memorize the names of glyphs when I see them. Then when I get a string of glyphs in the game, I only have to remember a few words instead of shapes. 3/5 because some features aren't working and it would be nice to have a mode that's the same as actual glyph hacking.

Good but agree with others.

This is a good app to practice, but the associations are in the wrong order to really memorize. Also the drill for Imperfect doesn't work.

Excellent!

This app is amazingly helpful. I’ve improved my glyph hacking abilities immensely in only two days. The app always tells you the name of the glyph you drew, even if it’s not the one it WANTS you to draw, so you can practice tricky ones by drawing the same glyph over and over. HUMAN GAIN PEACE.
