I just wasted an hour screwing around with this app. It ask me to change settings that don’t exist in my iOS. Don’t waste your time and find an app that actually works
Used To Be Good - Now Just Impossible

This ap, which I have used for more than 8 years, used to be awesome and easy to use. Now I find it way to difficult to do just about anything that I need to do. Here are a few examples of what I’m talking about. 1) The A1c calculator: each time I press the red button at the top which says “est A1c” a message pops up that says “You have less that 9 blood glucose tests. Try again when you have more records.” I test my blood sugar 9-10 times a day. The result of each test I record using the app. When I go to the glucose screen on this app, there’s a listing of the date and time of the test. The old app was MUCH easier to calculate an A1c. 2) Syncing the app with the Glucosebuddy website. This used to be fast and easy. Now it’s impossible, and for me I mean literally. The first time I attempted to do so, I spent a very long time searching all over the app for ANYTHING that had the word sync on it, (after having connected to the website), and finally found a small little button at the bottom of the settings. When I presses it, the only that that happens is that a small wheel appears and just spins, but the app never syncs, and NO logs are uploaded to my account in the Glucosebuddy website. With the old app I could literally upload 1,000 different logs in a matter of seconds. There are several more things about this app that used to be so awesome, and now are just WAY too complicated to figure out how to do, and I am computer savvy. I actually like the new look of this app. It just needs to be a whole lot easier to use. What I can HONESTLY SAY about this app at present is that if they do not make it easier to use, then after more than 8 years of use, I’m going to start using another diabetes log book that I found on the App Store that pretty much has all of the same functions as this one, with the exception of the A1c calculator. Please make this app easier. We’ve been together a long time. One thing they have changed that is an improvement is the ability to record bolus records. On the old app, if I had to deliver, let’s say a 1.23 unit bolus, I would only be able to record it as a 1.2 unit bolus. On the updated app I now have the ability to record the exact bolus, and this is a MAJOR improvement. Thank you!!

My husband and I have used this app for years. It’s so convenient and easy to use. My doctor loves it too. All he has to do is look on our phones to monitor our blood glucose history. It on takes seconds to record your numbers and you’re done!

Couldn’t even figure out how to get the initial setup done. Kept telling me it needed access to my privacy settings but no matter what options I opened up apparently it didn’t like any of the choices I made. Had to abandon the set up. Was really hoping to find an app to track rather than on paper.

The interface is pretty much a direct copy of the much better One Drop app. Unfortunate.

At least it’s being updated now. For years it wasn’t and you wondered if it would just disappear someday or stop working. I’m okay with the new design but features that were free aren’t anymore, and I do not think that’s cool at all.

This is all new to me but this app keeps the records of my readings and can even email the results to my Doctor . So far it has done very well . Update : The old version was very easy to use but this new version is a complete pain . Do not like it at all !!!
