I’ve been diabetic all my life, from my childhood. I use a insulin pump, the Medtronic 670g. Today my family had to struggle with me due to a 29BG, they called 911, however it is very difficult to get to my home where we live. I have this app in my phone and I have trained my 10 and 11 year old daughters to use it. Today I can honestly say that I would not have survived without Glucagon and this app that’s loaded into my phone. They both followed the simple instructions and working together they brought me back!!! Even the paramedics were amazed when they arrived here... Thank God for Glucagon, thank God for such a easy to use app... I am so thankful for the app and the easy to use instructions...
My 4 year old was diagnosed with type 1 just 10 days ago, and this will be an invaluable tool for training his care providers. Thank you!!
Can you please take off the 911 button I almost hit it so please other then that it is good
I rate this app very high because it is useful and also because it is careful to indicate important safety information prominently. I was wondering, however, if Lilly has received any adverse event messages from users in the comments posted to iTunes? If so, what is Lilly's policy for dealing with these? I have been able to share the needs to know with so very many more people with a greater detail than I normally would. Thank you so much for developing this instructional and interactive app. More app designers and companies should follow your template geared toward the consumer.
I've been type 1 diabetic for almost 20 years. I was so excited to find this app that I could have friends and loved ones keep on their phones in case of emergencies. Used to work great and was super helpful. Since I updated to iOS 8, it crashes as soon as I open it. Same goes for several other peoples' phones I've tried it on. Please fix and I will change my rating to 5/5!
