Needs a remake or a sequel. I know there is a sequel already, but this game has so much more potential. I Love this company and their products.

It's a great game and the strategy and tactics of it are awesome. The military history is awesome too, but there are some serious historical problems. The biggest one probably is that General "Holt" is misspelled and is actually Colonel-General Hermann Hoth. The Greek marshal "Pappgoose" is actually Marshal Papagos. There are also placement errors like where Frederich Von Paulus tends to be placed in the north in Western Front Europe 1943 instead of the south towards Stalingrad instead of north of Warsaw where he was stationed with Reichenau in 1941. Uh so game is awesome, history is periodically screwed up in this game. Buy it though.

Great strategy game. A fun way to kill some time. Allied A.I. Could use some improving.

I've played countless number of hours with this game and it always surprises me with the amount of strategy that is involved so to that end it is great. However a couple of the mechanics of the game could be improved or out right changed for one I have no idea why a battleship attacking a transporting artillery infantry or armor unit would get more damage then the unit being transported. That really matter I'm not sure why units that are in transport are able to attack or defend it all there should be the ability to have cool naval battles without the use of the units and transport participating it should be all destroyers battleships carriers doing the fighting. Second the cost for upgrades and the metals awarded are far and disparity and the costs for upgrades in the game can end up costing you hell of a lot of money over 20 to 30+ dollars for the game. These upgrades are needed in order to compete in the later campaigns.
