Zero stars. Cuts to a Mobile Strike ad at least once every 60 seconds. Touch interface is hugely clumsy. I wanted to use this to compare latitudes of different cities, but latitude lines are projected only every 20 degrees and country borders are not shown. It's also eating power alive, even when not running--20% to 4% in minutes, even on AC power. Had to delete app for the battery percentage to rise again while charging! Bizarre.
This app has in-app purchases disguised as close buttons for the ads. Just be careful if you do not want to buy some other apps for $9.99. I thought that the app itself was mediocre and have deleted it.
Cluttered, ugly, does not even approach what its name suggests, and what we were looking for: a simple, zoomable, interactive 3D globe. We love Living Earth, it's perfect for what it does, but it is not designed as a VR globe and its creators apparently decided not to go there. This is a mess and worse, the user is bombarded by ads when selecting ANY feature. Dumbest marketing ever. If we can't demo the features, we're sure not going to pay anything for them. We saved our money and bought the elegant National Geographic app for $1.99, which is perfect--yes, ok' NAT GEO got it right! But of course we'll never get a refund on the time we wasted on this heap.
The first button you approve is to pay $9.99 for no ads. I thought I was approving the download, but nope. :(
Thought I was approving a download also and it charge me $10 bucks. Add to this the app is not worth $.10 cents this is total scam.
This app graphics are very outdated back from 1998, adds keep poping every minute, and you have to wait 60 sec to see the comercial, waste of time, DO NOT DOWNLOAD !!!
