Finally my son can enjoy the pacman gameplay that I grew up playing as a kid. Controls are simple. The graphics and characters are great (funny minions and giant robots). No crazy in app purchasing stuff to drain my wallet. Well done.

Globber’s Escape offers a refreshing and light-hearted gameplay experience. The bright tone of the art and the playful dialogue make this game engaging without overwhelming the player. While the gameplay itself is clearly derived from Pac-Man, this game balances the nostalgia of the arcade genre with the expectations for a modern mobile game. The simple mechanics will appeal both to experienced and novice mobile gamers, and the endless play sessions encourage friendly competition. In terms of the overall experience, I would rate this game as the equivalent of a S’mores cupcake-- it’s just what you’ve been craving, even if you had no idea it even existed until I mentioned it just now.

Note to devs of this game: you have a good thing going with this. Unless you find some game-breaking bug, DON'T MESS WITH IT! ????????????? This game is actually good! The controls are simple, the visuals are colorful and fun, and even the sound is oddly musical even though there isn't really any "music". A real surprise is that this seems to work fine offline. Why is that important? Because if you have an iPod touch or a limited data plan, or just plain can't get a signal, this game will still work when you need it. It also means they aren't trying to "data mine" you to death! As long as this stays as it is, the ads are visible without being intrusive and you do not need in-app purchases to play, even though some are there and can make things easier. A very good, balanced, formula for a good game so far! ???
