I like the game however I feel the one flaw is the game arranging you hand for you. You should do it yourself for one experience and two sometimes the game goes down a road I wouldn’t take anyway.
Freezes a lot!! Online games are even worse, ie slow response, shuts down or freezes up, etc.
I’ve loved this game until the recent update. Now there are ads galore. What a huge drag. I’m going to download another gin game to avoid the frustrations.
I play either mode straighter knock.... but specially in knock mode it cheats
System system has scoring bugs. Does not allow you set how your hand is arranged. It occasionally does not recognize a Gin. When you opponent goes down it doesn’t allow you to rearrange your had in the play on the opponent’s hand. It often misses an undercut.
I was playing this for a while and really enjoying it. Then the adds started taking 15-30 seconds each and now I just stopped playing. Waste of time. :(
As other reviews have said, the AI player always has the upper hand. In real life it’s typical for a player to draw three or fewer cards and knock or gin maybe once in a while. That happens regularly with this game to the point that it defeats the purpose of playing. When I get to draw fewer than 5 cards in an entire game before the AI wins, it’s a waste of my time. It seems that the designers decided that the only way to make the game more challenging is to give the AI every card it needs and me almost none that I need but that’s not how it works in real life. The game needs to be made more realistic to be worth buying so save your money.
