The acorn app is a parasite

The game seems to knows your cards! Needs to have a gin setting!

I was really prepared to like this game, but it seems to knows your hand. Say you’ve held on to a pair of queens for 3 turns, then finally decide to get rid of them (so you don’t get caught with high value cards if the game knocks). The very next turn either you draw a queen or they discard one! This happened to me nearly every hand when I had a high value pair! Things like that make them game seem to favor the house way too much.

Pretty good but I think computer cheats

Fun but way too many coincidences for what and when computer discards in relation to what I need.

A true test

Yes, this version is hard to beat, it’s AI after all. Unless you’re a memory expert, it definitely has the upper hand. I’ll admit that it sometimes seems to be cheating, or even taunting you with plays that look that way; I’m certainly not inside the head of the developers. If your looking to play a game to just relax and have fun it may not be for you. However, if you want to improve your gin game, I highly recommend it. If you play it for a while, just like a human opponent, you can get a feel for the strategy it uses and definitely compete.

You can be up 93 to 2 and miraculously the Ai will draw one card and have gin and you will have the worst hand ever. Then next hand will draw 2 cards and knock and game over. This happens far too often. Also if the Ai is down in points, every time you knock, the Ai will have 1 less point to undercut you!

Not bad

Too many times as soon as I give up on a run, the game throws the card I need. It happens too often to be a coincidence. I That’s cheating to me.

So far I’m enjoying it.

This is interesting, but not very realistic. It’s obviously biased toward the dealer. It is definitely bias against the iPad player!!! Nine times out of ten the discard from the iPad for a call is a card that the iPad player can use. I realize that that happens, but not with the frequency that it happens in this game.
