The website is good but the APP it’s self needs some work. When downloading the app all it does is lets you have the opportunity to add to your wish list though your web browser but doesn’t show the actual wish list in the app.

I would’ve given the app 1 star, but gift hero is awesome. I don’t understand what’s happening in the Gift Hero IT department. The mobile website is beautifully designed and easy to use, something that most companies for some reason neglect, even exclusively online companies such as ebay and amazon. The app doesn’t make any sense. It installs a browser extension instead of just working like a normal app, and then the browser extension doesnt work.

The most pointless app in existence. All it does is redirect you to the website. The website is wonderful. This app isn’t even worth one star, let alone five.

Doesn’t install the browser extension (in iOS 12, at least). Also should be a real app with wishlist mgmt support, which it’s not. Useless. Too bad, since GiftHero desktop site seems pretty nice, but more people shop on mobile now.

All you can do is look at how to add things to your list. You have to go to the browser in order to do anything. This app has NOTHING.

There is absolutely no reason to download this app. It does nothing. Just open Gift Hero in safari and save yourself the hassle. Super disappointing.

What a colossal waste of time to use the desktop site, add gifts, and then install the app only to find that you are told to use the desktop site! Hello, Christmas is coming, which means people want to access their lists while shopping in the mall! Being able to quickly click on the app and see your list per person is what people need. I wish I could find a FREE app that my family and extended family can install that lets us make our wish lists with links, make them private or public, track price, status of purchase, shipping. I seem to find an app that does SOME but not ALL of that. What a pain. I was sold on this until I opened the app.
Only one function - & it doesn't work.

The only thing you have does is let you export an item from Safari to your wish list. However it doesn't work. There's no extension available in Safari. As other reviewer's have said, this app needs to actually do something.

This app doesn't even do what it claims to do. After installing the app gives the correct instructions to enable the extension, but there is no extension in the sharing sheet. Get a better developer.
Can't add gifts using the app

Not really sure why the app exists... Downloading the app does nothing but tell you that you just use the browser in order to add gifts to your list. The app provides the suggestion to change a setting to make adding gifts to your list easied, however I don't even have that option on my phone. The app is pointless.
