Smart and simple app!

So I took a bunch of pictures of my cat and dog playing, and wanted to send them to my bf without spamming his inbox with tons of individual pictures. Solution? Make a gif! Since I've never made one, I downloaded Gif Maker from the app store. Two minutes later, my first gif was complete! Exporting it as a message was easy as pie. Many thanks to the developers; this app is something I'll be using regularly!

I tried to make a gif from a one minute video and every time it goes to the loading screen it sits there for a few seconds then blackscreens and crashes. Everytime.

What works: showing an intrusive ad at startup. What does not work at all: making a GIF. I load a video (taken on the same phone), the app thinks about it, and crashes.
