G.I. Joe: War On Cobra PVP Reviews

I figured I'd try this out, but as soon as I have the option to choose a side, I'm stuck. Whenever, as a Cobra, you're asked to upgrade the oil derrick, I have to tap on it a few times before the upgrade/info options come up. However, since the buttons for wither of those is outside the highlighted area, I cannot tap on the upgrade option. So, my game is effectively done. If this gets fixed I’ll bump up the score accordingly. But until then, it gets a single star.

Game looks decent, gameplay gets boring quick

The game looks decent and is easy to get into. But it gets boring after a few days, because the gameplay is too repetitive and there is no cooperation with teammates from an alliance and a feeling of really attacking another player. Where is the real PvP? Posibility to retaliate? Teamplay? Wars? After a few days I am at level 7 and have to attack bases at similar levels, but they have all air defense without me having units to defeat air units. Change the opponent and you get either the same or a base for only water units, which is impossible to defeat with a single boat. Alliance can only help out with cards. Can’t see their bases, can’t see their attacks or defenses. Few strategy imvolved, but lots of collecting cards which you might hope will help you. Seems that at higher levels it will get into pay a lot or can’t play, because the game is way out of balance.

When you first pick up the game you are comparing it to the other games you play that you are already well established. So it starts off feeling very basic, mostly because you forgot how all your other games you love did too. As it progresses it gets a lot better, even to the point where the anticipation out paces others. Also the opportunities for future characters and vehicles and defenses are expansive.

30 Percent of the time a loading screen comes up, it crashes. Every time I try to get Snake Eyes, it crashes. Please fix.

The game is ok. If you are a fan of GI Joe then you will enjoy it for a little while. It’s is very repetitive. It also gets a little strange when it takes more oil than you can hold to upgrade stuff and you can upgrade the storage till you upgrade the HQ. So you have to use diamonds to upgrade. It’s weak that they try to force you to make in game purchases.

I have been playing this game for about 2 months now and I love it so much. It is so fun to play. It’s difficult but fun to try and beat them again.

I only play coz ive been into Joes my whole life. Really, thats the only reason. I can barely do much without it crashing. Poor stability

Game looks great and is just the right amount of complexity. Unfortunately, every single new enemy on my map is unbeatable, no PC enemies appear, and my only option is to grind the first two easy levels 6 times a day for the next several weeks. Not interested.
