Great game but ....

Cordsmith

Is a beautiful game, well designed, but punishingly difficult. I do enjoy the challenge, but this one needs a casual mode too.

No music?

Liz Rizzo

It's a solid implementation, but I was disappointed that there isn't any music. Also, it really doesn't sound like the zombies are saying "brains." Ahem.

Ghost stories

This is cool, but please make it so you can play with computer AI also. Nearly impossible to play alone. Need AI folks to help you fight!

Really?

I have the boardgame & this app clears up some rules issues. It is too darn hard, even on initiation mode. Total mind blow.

Great App!

Newsstandman

I absolutely love it! Great graphics. Great game. Very fun and addicting lol. Just like the board game.

Great App!

Well done; Excellent implementation of the boardgame

Perfect

Joeg12357

Looks fantastic, and I have not encountered any issues to date. Yes, it is difficult. That should not discourage you, as it makes those wins so much more rewarding. Perfect score for perfect implementation. Do wish there was a card gallery in game for the ghosts, but not going to dock for that.

Always ?

Played this game over 50 times on "normal" and yet to win. I'm a regular board gamer and I'd like to think I'm not an idiot. I guess that's why I'm so blown away that a game with so much potential begs you to not even bother. I'm done with it. Waste of time and money.

Awful, simply awful

I wish I could give this App a 0. I have played the board game and enjoyed, which is why I got the App. But I am certain the dice rolling aspect is off. I know the math on specific die rolls and am well under half of what I should be after a half dozen games (so well over a hundred die rolls.) I don't believe in "being unlucky", no one is better or worse at rolling dice, but dice rolling programs can be flawed, and this one is. A second massive flaw is the ability to go back, or more accurately the inability to go back beyond the last thing you just did. There are about a billion things to track in this game and when playing a four character game, it is really easy for these to slip from time to time. The problem is, the go back feature is very poor, and a single mistake can literally cost you an entire game. Needless to say, when it is not uncommon to make a half dozen "mistakes" in a game, this is quite frustrating. A simple prompt that said "Hey stupid, you are about to end the turn and didn't place your Buddha/use your special power/any other number of things that there would be no reason to do. Are you sure you want to continue?" would solve 99% of the problem. Both of these can be fixed via a patch, so don't buy this App until they are fixed.

Fun game, but very hard

Nycbuddha

I played the board game once, so I may have a slight edge in understanding this thing. The learning curve is fairly steep and it's unforgiving of mistakes. Still, it's a fun little Big Trouble in Little China themed solitaire game of kung fu masters vs. evil ghosts. It can be beat (I've won twice!) but it's darn hard. The cards are cool but the graphics are tame so I could see this wearing after a while.
