Lost my $$? I downloaded after paying for it and it says it’s comparable with my iPhone 7 but the developer needs to update it??? But has never updated it so I’m just stuck on hold waiting for a update to be comparable with iphone7??

Is there something built into this app to make weird figures appear in pictures taken? I took a lot of photos with it (are they stored somewhere?) and one had a funny shape in it but I couldn't make it happen more than once. It's neat to use, will be even neater if all it is is a camera function with no special effects added.
