Egregiously Poor App Etiquette and Appsmanship

Well done USGA! No wonder American golf is experiencing decline in participation levels. I’m just a humble golfer here trying to establish a GHIN# and the USGA tech staff has effectively walked over my putting line and then carried conversation during my drive at the following tee box. Sorry, you don’t belong in the iTunes Store CC, a club where virtues of simplicity and inclusiveness rule over those of exclusivity and ‘sophistication’ (ie opaque and non intuitive). This app was NOT functional in my case. It’s like I showed up to a course with sandy greens and no hole pins. This is a case study of a 1-star app. Stick with pen & paper; USGA is a dinosaurian institution. Go sit on pumpkin handle, pals.
Partner handicap screen not refreshing

Everything working okay but partner handicaps do not refresh always. Not sure why there is a disconnect with the other portions of the app which seem to refresh well in real time.

Can’t find my local club Even with location services on the nearest club is 2500 miles away in NY I’m in California Type in my local club name nothing shows up

It works fine for recording your personal scores. The issue is that your playing partners indexes do not update. Currently, they are 6 months old. The develop has posted an update in over a year.

This app is so poor being that the USGA uses this for an official handicap app. It never works, and it can never find me or my number unless I go online. This is ridiculous how long this app has been so bad with no improvement
It won’t load

I used to have no problem but lately it will not load when I try to open it. Also, it would be nice if you can enter the 2 letter abbreviation for the state when looking up a course or golfer instead of scrolling down.

It seems the only way to get your “partners” most recent handicap is to delete them and re-add them after every revision.

interclub
App will not work at all for me. Won’t let me log in, when I try to search for my club it says I’m located in New Jersey. Definitely not in NJ! Almost all the way on the other side of the country...the last update was over a year ago which is very telling to the care the people in charge put into this app.
