German Dictionary – Translator Reviews

This app is incredibly helpful. I recently moved to Germany for work and I do not speak German, but I'm learning, and this dictionary is great. It's easy to use and it is very convenient. I use it daily to look up words and even phrases. The phrases are particularly helpful because not only do you learn the meaning of new words, but this app, to my knowledge, also uses the correct grammar. I recommend this app to anyone trying to learn a new language, it's a life saver.

I take a German class in school, so this app is pretty helpful when I need to find a word(s) quick and easy with flipping through a German dictionary trying to find the word you need.

I am a beginning German student, and this app is very useful to me. It can switch from English>German to German>English. Two things I would love to see in an update: (1) the ability to retrieve previous entries, and (2) assistance in the form of "Do you mean..." For example if I enter 'beschreiburg,' it would say, "Not found; do you mean 'beschreibung'?

This dictionary really is fantastic. It has spot on, well done pronunciations, extensive vocabulary, and numerous idiomatic expressions for each and every entree, not to mention giving cases and forms as a standard.

I use every day, many times. It is so handy! I have a German class once a week, I use this app every day to email my daughter in Germany and to practice sentences myself at home. You can get translations for a single word, a phrase, a sentence, and it gives examples too. Very helpful and very easy to switch back and forth from English to German and vice versa.

This app is kind of awful. It only returns about half of my searches with results, and sometimes the results have no translations, which is entirely why I downloaded it, so it's useless

Lots of ads, and if you are in the subway or in some other place without a web connection, this software won’t work at all. So long as you can live with that limitation, it’s fine.
