Create an account, set your distance radius from the map, and start posting. The great thing about Geoshare is that it uses your current gps location to provide you with relevant posts from people that are around you. You can set your distance radius to 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 miles away from your current location to start seeing posts. You can also set the distance radius to "world" to view posts from all over the globe.
Take action and start engaging with people by liking, disliking, or commenting on their post. The more likes and comments a post gets the more of a chance that post will show up on the popular page. Getting on the popular page expands your post to a wider audience and thus creates even more engagement. If you don't like a certain post feel free to report us about it.
Customize your profile page by creating a unique username and adding a fun picture of your self. The profile page gives users a chance to stand out from other users and provides a sense of individuality. You can also view your past posts and measure how much engage they have gotten through the new/ popular slider. If you don't like a past post you created then feel free to delete it at any time.
Stay up to date with notifications! If anyone likes, dislikes, or comments on a post you will instantly receive a notification about it. This gives you the chance to see who is engaging with your posts and to see how the community reacts to them.
The main goal with Geoshare is to basically connect you with your local community, society, and neighbors. We strongly believe that alone we can only do so much, but together we can do so much more. That's why we strive to make Geoshare an app that gives you a direct connection to groups of people that are actually reachable to you. For example if you have a lost pet, use Geoshare to reach out to your neighbors to help find your pet. If you want a group to go surfing with this weekend, log into Geoshare and make a post about it. If you have a garage sale and don't know how to tell your community, then get on Geoshare and tell the world about it. We want you to know your neighbors because you are never alone with Geoshare.
