I started geohashing in late 2011. There was only one iOS app to calculate geohashes. This app has a very nice interface and easy to use and see all surrounding graticules which is nice since I live within a mile of the 43,-88 origin. I can only give it four stars due to the unfairly high expectations I have set by the GeohashingDroid app. I want a camera with distance/GPS overlays, GPS tracklogs, and in-app navigation too! When I went into the "more" section I realized I have the GPS Kit app as well and had just started using that for my geohashing tracklogs. Keep up the great work!

I had been using an app that only showed my graticule, but I wanted to see all of the ones surrounding me as well. This app does that. It also is very clean and is so easy to use and understand. Very happy!!

Only things i would add to make it comprehensive are globalhashes, integration with the geohashing wiki somehow, and showing the current gps coordinates.

A very good app with one minor problem

This is a simple, well-designed app for geohashing. It's the best one I've seen so far on iOS. It looks good and does what it needs to do. The only problem is that it will sometimes not show you geohashes which should be available. On Fridays, hashes for both Saturday and Sunday are available, since they only rely on Friday's market data. However, this app will not allow you to select future dates under any circumstances, even when the hashes for those dates are available. Without that minor issue, this would be a five star app. It's still the best one out there.

I have to ask if it's been failing anyone else for the last few weeks? I've deleted and reloaded the app, but been unable to get the hash for some time now.
