Hard to keep your compass when it is always going offline. Fun game, just fix this!

The clock starts before the map even loads. Especially when you zoom in to try and be specific it takes a while to load which messes up your score.

You have 30 sec to find a location. Even if you recognize the landmark and no the city there is no time to search for it. You need to give people a few minutes to find the landmark. The game is frankly bad. Terrible. Sounded fun, but very disappointing.

Great idea but it needs work, a lot!

Pictures should load before the timer begins countdown. In my case, once I login the app won't run again. I have to uninstall-install it again.

I think the other reviewers have a poor internet connection. I always have a clear picture and ample time to zoom into a place on the map. I have played against a lot of people all over the world and they seem to have plenty of time to choose the right location because they keep beating me! So I don't know why they are having that issue. I was given 10 compasses to start for free. This is a great game. Couple of ways to improve it: 1) Let the person play all 5 levels before having to wait for the other person in a multi-player game. 2) The App states there are 2000 locations, but I have had repeats on many occasions, too many occasions for it to be a coincidence.

I don't know why everyone is so down on this game. The negative reviews sound like people are frustrated because it's hard. It's a fun challenge! I've only had issues with slow loading or lost connection when I'm in a bad reception area. Never had to pay a dime for any compasses.

Finally joining in the fun

The game got better after my initial review, and I had a blast playing it. However, when I've been playing recently, the picture loads but not the map. I'm forced to blindly pick a spot and hope I'm accurate. I'd like to be able to fully enjoy exploring the world again.

I used to love this game, a few months ago it would be 5 stars. But recently there are no pictures!! They just don't load I guess. I just have to pick a random spot on the map and hope I'm right. Which usually I'm not. So I can never win my compass back. Out of 5 rounds, usually only 1 picture loads. Please fix.

Fun Game, Horrible execution

I love the online version of this game GeoGuesser. But the app is horrible. I haven't even been able to finish one round. I've tried playing with a strong internet connection and using data but more than half the time the picture doesn't show up, so I can't guess. If you stop in the middle of the game and try to come back later, it says it can't load the data to start the game over. And you can't start a new game if you have a current game pending. I realize this sounds like a connection issue, but it simply is not. It's faster to delete the game then re-download than it is to try and wait for a picture to show up to make a guess. Again, I've tried using data - didn't work. I've tried using wifi - didn't work; it was faster to delete and re-download, but even still haven't been able to finish a single round.

I used to be addicted to this game, and now it's unplayable. The photos never load, and I'm continually stuck on round one with no way to advance.
