Amazing

H0-Zay

Simply one of the best mobile games I've played if not thee best.

Great fun. Great story.

I really enjoyed playing Gemini Rue. If you like the old point-and-click style games, you'll have fun with this one. And if you're the kind of person who likes to mix his genres--hard-boiled detective meets sci-fi dystopia here--you'll really have a good time. Highly recommended. I wish I could find more games like this in the App Store.

Great game

Really nice adventure game, good thematic cohesion. Minor problems with the interface. There's no way to examine things in your inventory and the hit targets for the buttons in the shooting game are really small and easy to miss. None of these problems greatly detract from an excellent game, nothing got me good and truly stuck either.

Wadjet Eye = quality.

Gemini Rue plays like many older style point'n'click games but keeps it relatively fresh and familiar for a touch interface. The gameplay is nothing compared to the story, which I found entertaining and satisfying (this is a singular game, no dangling threads or cliff hangers). All in all, I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a slow-paced game, and to those nostalgic for the point'n'click days of yore.

HORRIBLE GAME

Sarah Chodesh

Terrible graphics, ugly interface, lot's of bugs. Go through the entire scenario for getting the gun and nothing - no gun drops down as the walk through say it will - ugh. Did it exactly, went back to previous saved game and it still won't give up the gun. Maybe because it knows I would shoot this game virtually if I could. SAVE YOUR MONEY - I AM ASKING APPLE BACK FOR MINE. One thing you won't get back is your time. If your time is more valuable than money then save yourself the agony. You can get your money back but are out of luck with time. I don't get these reviews ... Here. If the game worked I would put up with the lousy retro graphics and clunky interface. I can't believe that Apple even let this game into the App Store!! Buyer Beware!!

Death by Voiceover

I can't get past the terrible "acting". Even the reviewers are giving an unconvincing performance. Play this game only after playing all the other games in the App Store.

A good way to spend a rainy weekend

I've played this too long

Was hesitant but very glad I got this game. Story was interesting, play was fun, enjoyed it all. Much much better than freemium style things. Was reminded of the movie "the island".

Very Enjoyable!

I have not played a point-and-click game in many years and this is the first one I've played on the iPad. It was a lot of fun! (I'm in my 60's and even for us old guys it is a blast). There were a couple of minor glitches, the program crashed a couple of dozen times before I was finished, but each time, I did not lose anything. I simply opened up the app and hit "continue" and I was right where I left off. The last time I played a point-and-click game on my PC, it was somewhere around $35, but this was huge fun and a vastly less expensive experience. Excellent value for the money.

There are better ways to deploy save-breaking features

OMGsus

What should have happened: 1)Put out an update that opens original save files and saves in the new format. 2) release new version a month or so later. What actually happens: 1) release new update that doesn't open old save files as a feature. Trust destroyed.... :(

Epic

Awesome game. It's so unpredictable and I loved the story. It has an atmosphere that reminds me to Blade Runner. Congratulations and thanks for the game.
