Good, but flawed

This app is a nice change of pace from other brain apps, however, the rules to some of the games seem to change without notice. In my test today, Stepping Stones suddenly changed the order in which I was required to tap the stones. I figured this out when I kept getting incorrect answers. However, I've never played a level of Stepping Stones like this. How can you test me on something that you haven't even explained to me? Other games are like this, as well. Tests should be based on what's been covered in the workouts. I'm not sure how long this will keep my attention.

To summarize, The free version was not gives you six free games to practice on at any level and three games each day. The paid version is expensive but unlocks all games to practice on at all levels. And you get to play five training games each day instead of three. So, if you are looking for a brain training game and want to spring for the paid version, then perhaps you want to give this game a shot after you read more reviews from those who paid for the game. My experiences, I have had the free version through a couple of upgrades. When I first got the app I was capped at level 3, with each periodic test my score climbed. I continued to enjoy the game for awhile after the update as I was no longer capped at level 3. Some of the games are harder for me at the higher levels, e.g. power memory, let there be light, deep space, painted path, to name a few. I do ok with the speed games, the number games and the spanish games. In fact most of the games the app gives me to play are much harder at higher levels. And thee are some games it never gives me to play. as time went on, I saw that my scores on the periodic tests began to drop, and have kept dropping. I don’t mind a challenge, but I don’t like playing a game where my scores are continuing to drop. I do not understand why the app seems to give me some games to play and not others. I haven’t had a Spanish game in awhile. Some games I have never seen at all. Early on I had considered springing for the premium version, but I not going to pay for this app, and I am going to delete it from my iPad. I am not stupid. Some of you are going to say, what do you expect since you are not paying for the premium version. I can see that this game is not for me, and I am not going to keep playing the free version that makes me feel like a dope. I might have a better experience with the premium version but I am unwilling to spend that kind of money. Sorry.

Has the potential to be a great brain game. I purchased the membership, good investment!! I own almost every brain game out there and what the Developers did here is put together a good variety of exercises, so instead of buying all the other apps, you're now have them here! Very clever indeed!! Needs improvements on the following: You must be able to change a game that you don't like on the daily exercises. That's a must! Better and easy to read and understand stats, better controls and a better scoring system. I look forward to the next update and I will revise my review. I really want to give it five stars but... Please make some changes and re-evaluate some of your games!! Thank you
