It doesn’t state what size can the motor is or what type of pitch the gears have and there is no way to change it. It doesn’t even say what the can size is that the entire app is based off of. If they would fix this it might be worth something but I guess.?
Why all the bad reviews?

App works great for me. Arrma 6s Talion running 8s on GRP’s and castle MMX8s/ 1717-1650kv. I don’t know how the app looked before the last update but everything is there to calculate speed (theoretical). That’s the only problem. According to Raz Shiffran you should input 1 cell less that whatever you’re running. Also, drop your cell voltage to around 3.75v per cell if you want a realistic number. Also, make sure when entering in your tire size that you know which unit of measure you’re using. I’m pretty sure that’s what one reviewer did wrong. He said it calculated his rig could only achieve 3mph. Probably entered his tire size in inches when he was using the millimeter unit of measurement. Imagine a 4mm tall tire, LOL! App does what it says. Wish you could enter in air resistance and maybe the dimensions of vehicle.

Very useful but could be a little better. Using this for drag racing I am pulling down to 3.4 per cell and I can’t duplicate that.
Basic.. if you have 4x4 your out of luck

Very few options . This would be okay if you was trying to get the general idea on how fast your setup is. But nothing 4 wheel drive . Nothing for the front and rear differential gears radios nothing if for car has Multiple gears. Just basic and waste of a dollar. So now I have keep it cause spend money on it . So it going as back ground on my phone so I would have to Search to use it cause that’s how useless this app is .

Excellent tool for the RC enthusiast. Only downside to using the GEAR SPEED app is that it can be pretty addicting.

Let's start with simple interface, nice and clean. Easy to see in bright daylight in the pits. It gives you what you need to know to get your RC car to where you want to run, gearing wise. Driver skill is a different story. I'm impressed for the cost (free at this time) and will recommend it to other racers.

Great app simple to use and pretty accurate if you compare it to doing the math yourself only complaint it doesnt go to 34 volts so i still have to write out my 8s set ups

Very nice to look at and simple to use but it doesn't let you input a KV less than 500. That is something I would like to see updated very soon, as I would like to calculate with a 190kv motor.
