I really love the idea of this app. I find delicious looking meals and it's so much easier to plan for them now. I can get the ingredients listed out for me so easily. I would only have one complaint and that is having to log on with a full email and password every time I open the app. It also seems to be out of service as the last update was a year ago.
Great idea ... unfortunately FREE mealplanning has disappeared--

--even from my ReadingList, where I had saved several. Hmm. I do think it is worth trying ... but $100! (per year advert) for mealplanning only, not the groceries?! Eh. This former FHA-er recommends you buy a wedding cookbook for $30-50 instead.

I would love to see more recipes (at least twice the amount to justify paying for this), including more "basic" dishes, as a lot of these recipes require lots of time and ingredients. Also, it would be nice to see others' comments and suggestions on each meal. Some of the recipes are confusing and I've seen two typos (told me to boil water randomly when it was nowhere needed for the dish) in the first week I tried it out. Excited for improvements!

Using this app in conjunction with the online web app has saved lots of time and stress for me and my wife. The recipes offered by this service are yummy, affordable, and easy to make. Despite having to cook for someone with Type 1 Diabetes and other dietary restrictions, Gatheredtable makes things easy by showing the nutrition information for every recipe and allowing us to customize which recipes will be recommended based on ingredients and personal dietary preferences. All in all, this is a very nice service for an individual or family in need of a quality meal management system or even some great recipe ideas in one place.
Terrible app, terrible customer service!
Occasionally annoyed
Not long after I started using this app I noticed the poor quality of it. I started to get more comfortable using the app and wanted to add recipes I came across on the internet. When I uploaded a recipe, parts of it was missing - some ingredients and parts of the instructions just didn’t show up. I noticed the same thing on recipes that are already on the site. After questioning one recipe that wasn’t making sense, I followed the link to the original website and found the pieces that were missing. I contacted customer service to see if something was wrong with the app, or if other customers were experiencing the same thing... the response was subpar. Claiming their “clipper” is not perfect and that it could be the recipe link that’s the problem. Once I decided I was done with this app, I emailed to confirm the subscription auto-renew was off.... I received the reply, “yup, it’s off.” At least be professional. This app/website is a good idea! It’s too bad it just doesn’t work and the customer service is terrible.

Was working great and worth spending a little for the menu & list help...now the screens get stuck and my iPad version is terrible!

My family loves Gathered Table's menu, so I stick by it. I use this app every day while cooking, and while shopping groceries. Before I knew GT has an app, I printed the recipes out. I was also trying to print out the shopping list from the website and the font size and spacing were so bad that it printed tiny fonts over the four pages list. So I tried sending an email, but after I check off the item, if I go to other app, the list would get refreshed. I contacted the customer support, and they got back immediately letting me know about this app! I'm a very happy user after discovering this app. No more printing and yes to convenience. I wish you can drag certain items to another day and make changes as easy as online. also, when I try to open the app, it crashes very often. I tried reinstalling it, and it worked fine for a few days. I don't know if it's the app's problem or my iPhone usage. But, I don't have problems with other apps. That's why I give four stars.

After the initial login, the app's loader kept spooling, but it would not allow me to access the app interface after that. The website is great, just wish their app had some of the minor technical issues worked out. Gave it a 3 because I'm excited to see how this evolves. What a unique meal planning concept.
