Loved the old, love the new

Great app, for tracking gas mileage. I also track oil changes, and other maintenance

Terrible

Don't waste your time.

Missed fill up?

Jim Thornburg

I get missed fill up when adding new fill up. Tried deleting adding it again and can't get rid of missed fill up. This stinks. Fixed with this version. Just about to find another app when this got fixed. Still shows missed fuel up when adding new record but now have option of selecting ignore.

You're the product....

MisterFox

I read something a while back that struck me. I'm paraphrasing, but it goes something like, "when you aren't paying for the product, you are the product." Moving from a platform that was entirely within your phone, and private, to one that mines your travel habits, the gas prices wherever you fill up, and your vehicle's mileage and other information is a disappointment. I was only offered the "opt out," after they already had all the data from my long history with the former app.

Use it on my motorcycle

Can't beat it for a free app. Puts a lot of information right at your fingertips.

App is now no good beta

JosieBear357

After purchasing an older previous version, the app was updated with a completely rewritten app that is now useless for tracking variations in gas mileage. The updated app has now become the free lite version, and another purchase fee must be paid for the full version--no thanks--the new app is horrible. The mileage graph plots the numbers on a scale beginning at zero causing all the variation in mileage to be squished into a narrow band of the graph. Additionally the milage scale tick marks are labelled in weird increments that appear to be the nearest integer to the maximum mileage number divided by the number four. Unfortunately there is a bug that causes incorrect and unusually high mileage numbers, causing the band for the correct data to be squished even narrower. Some bug in the new app causes gaps in the graph when there were no gaps for the same data imported from the old app. Satisfied users of the old app have been forced into beta testing a new app that is not ready for operational use. Beware of glowing old reviews of the old app! This is now a different, complete rewrite of the old app by someone possibly not the author of the original app. It smells like something fishy. The old reviews should not be permitted to be retained.

Great tracker!!!

I've been tracking my gas for nearly 2 years with this app and I love it. Turn your phone horizontally and check out all the additional graphs you get and all the other information.

bristles babe

I liked the old version of gas buddy better

Not like Gas Cubby

Not Plain Jane44

I know this is free but every time you enter something you have to press Done because the keyboard stays up and you don't know what field is next. When all the data is entered, a report comes up that says the mileage is better or worse but you can't see the actual report under the congratulations message. And it tells me I'm not synced but all the data is there. I'm not sure why I'm still using this app.

Incomplete app

MacVolt

I was transferred from Gas Cubby. I also drive a Chevy Volt which can get up to 2-3000 miles per fill up. This app assumes you have skipped a fill up without the option to enter the actual gas used. I guess any mileage over their set max is assumed to be a missed fill up.
