After a lot of disappointments with BigFish games freezing or crashing, someone suggested I try G5 games. While I can say that they don't seem to crash as much, that's the only good thing I can say about them. This game is a perfect example of what's wrong with G5 games: 1) Dull storyline - the story was pretty obvious and the ending, as others have pointed out, was anticlimactic. The "final battle" is all done as a video clip so there's nothing for you to actually do. And rather unbelievable that you easily beat your opponent when you've just learned you can turn into a dragon, and he apparently has done so all his life. 2) Too many HO scenes. I'd estimate about 70% HO, very few other kinds of puzzles and the non-HO puzzles are pretty easy. By the time I was halfway through the game I didn't want another HO. Everytime I came upon one I groaned in exasperation. Also, the HO scenes are annoying: - things are labeled wrong (eg. the game keeps using the word "bowl" but means goblet) - in "casual" mode the game keeps insisting on showing you the hidden areas of a HO scene, whether you want it to or not 3) No map. Really?? At this point I expect every game to not only have a map, but one that's interactive (ie. you can use it to teleport). In this game, there are points where you need to go back and forth between 2 areas that are 7 scenes apart. Very annoying. 4) not much to do at each scene. 5) No bonus play. For the price I paid on this game, I'd get a full game plus a bonus chapter on a Big Fish game. I almost never see Bonus Chapters on G5 games. I won't be buying G5 games anymore.
